Our Mission

To proclaim that Jesus is Lord and Savior through a living Christian community open to all.  To be united in worship and prayer, empowered by the Holy Spirit to love and serve our brothers and sisters in the parish and in the community at large.  To foster our unity as God's people, by being receptive to the presence of Jesus in one another and by sharing our diverse gifts.  To carry out the mission of Our Lady of Mount Carmel community as a parish.

PARISH COMMUNITY

On Sunday morning, September 24, 1922 at
8 o'clock, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass was offered for the first time in the newly formed parish of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.  From then til now, almost 100 years later, Mount Carmel remains an active, vibrant community, continuing its mission to "
love and serve our brothers and sisters in the parish and in the community at large."

OUR FESTA

The official feast day of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is July 16th.  The annual FESTA is a three day event, always held on the weekend closest to that date on the parish grounds.

Our FESTA continues to be a very special time for our parishioners, their families and friends.  Unfortunately FESTA 2020 was canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.  Plans are in the works to make FESTA 2021 better than ever!
